Master perfumer Francis Kurkdjian is responsible for tons of fragrances. Some of which are released under his own brand, and others are released by popular and world-renowned designer brands like Burberry and Jean Paul Gaultier to name a few. In 2014, Maison Francis Kurkdjian released a couple of fragrances centered on the fougére genre. This genre features lavender as the heart with an overtone of effervescent citrus fruits. One of these two fragrances is marketed for men while the other is marketed for women. The masculine counterpart of a blend of natural ingredients, not the least of which smells unpolished. This refined blend of citrus, lavender, amber, and woods is a contemporary take on the genre, and it is sure to defy many expectations. The scent is timeless, and the gentleman wearing it is of the utmost confidence.
